Dr Abdul Gaffar
Principle Dental Surgeon
Dr. Gaffar completed his Bachelor of Dental Science in New Zealand at Otago University before moving to Australia. In 2002, he opened Bonnyrigg Dental Surgery and relocated to a nearby larger property in 2012. He has a passion for surgical wisdom extractions and particularly complex cases. Dr Gaffar can speak Hindi.
Dr Maliha Pradhan
Dr. Pradhan completed a Bachelor of Medical Science (Pharmacology) at the University of New South Wales, where she then continued with a Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Melbourne. She has gained experience in rural Victoria, working with Indigenous Australian communities and has also spent time volunteering in Cambodia, providing dental treatment and oral health promotion to children. Dr Pradhan is also able to speak Bengali.
Dr Alex Aguilar
Dr. Aguilar graduated from the University of Sydney with a degree in B. Science (Anatomy and Histology) and went on to his postgraduate dental studies at the University of Sydney. He is known for his gentle and caring nature, and his ability to give his patients the smile they have always wanted. Outside of Dentistry, Dr Alex enjoys playing basketball and spending time with his family.
Dr Sahar Tashakor
Dr. Tashakor graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Monash University in Melbourne, then completed a Bachelor of Dental Science at Charles Sturt University. She has had the opportunity to work in both rural and metropolitan NSW, particularly with the Royal Flying Doctor services. Dr Tashakor’s empathetic nature enables her to build great patient rapport whilst providing excellent care. Dr Tashakor can also speak Farsi (Persian).
Dr. Brian Tran
Dr. Tran completed a Bachelor of Oral Health in Dental Science and continued with a Graduate Diploma of Dentistry at Griffith University. He has developed his experience by working in regional Queensland, providing gentle oral health care to patients. Dr Tran can speak Vietnamese and regularly attends professional development courses to keep up to date with the rapidly changing world of modern Dentistry.
Oral Health Therapist
Shida has been a part of our team for over 12 years, she worked as a dental assistant at Bonnyrigg Dental Surgery whilst studying a Bachelor of Oral Health – Dental Hygiene and since finishing, she has been our much loved dental hygienist. She continued her studies as an Oral Heath Therapist with a passion for providing treatment to children with her vibrant and caring nature. Shida can also speak Farsi (Persian).

Our surgery would not be complete without our great reception staff. They provide a friendly attitude to all patients, whether it be on the phone or in person.
