Dentures

Dentures are plates constructed to replace missing teeth. Conventional dentures are removable, however there are designs which rely on bonding or clasping to existing teeth or implants. Dentures are most commonly made from acrylic or cobalt chrome

Implants

A dental implant is a procedure that involves a metal fixture (similar to a screw) being fixed into the jawbone, which then acts as an anchor to support a false tooth (crown). Implant are a permanent option to missing teeth, which resemble a natural tooth.

Root Canal Treatment

Root canal treatment is a procedure to save a tooth that has experienced trauma or decay that has extend into the nerve. The root canal procedure involves cleaning, shaping and sealing off the roots of the tooth. A root canal tooth requires a crown to ensure the longevity of the tooth.

Crowns, Bridges & Veneers

A crown completely caps a tooth or dental implant. Crowns are often needed when a large decay affaects the health of a tooth. 
A bridge is used to replace one or more missing teeth by joining an artificial tooth to an adjacent tooth or implant. 
Veneers are a layer of material placed over the front surface of a tooth to improve the aesthetics of a smile. There are two main types of material used for veneers, composite and porcelain.

Mouthguards & Splints

A mouth guard is a protective guard that prevents and reduces injury to the teeth. Most commonly a mouth guard is used to prevent injury in contact sports. 
A Splint is a removable appliance that is worn at night to reduce the amount of grinding pressure.
